Printed on chiffon this image explores the intersection of queer desire and pyrosexuality, using smoke and movement as a metaphor to reflect the nature of queer longing—something powerful, unpredictable, and all-encompassing, much like smoke. Queer desire mimics pyrosexuality as both are combustible and engulfing, using a red light to further the passion of this. Standing in wet, uneven terrain, caught between control and surrender, mirroring the complexities of desire itself. Rather than a traditional depiction of intimacy, this image suggests a more abstract, sensory experience—one where heat, movement, and intensity define attraction in ways beyond the conventional.
